Monday August 04, 2008 - Transfer window open for 30 more days

Will this summer bring any significant changes in the big European teams and will any of the new clubs, after this transfer window, make it to the ‘big European teams’ list?
There are thirty more days for the transfers and we can still make a quite interesting list of the great ten swoops.
1.Ronaldinho
After a pretty poor last season in Barcelona, the Brazilian will try to shine again, but this time in black and red shirt in Serie A. Milan are expecting a lot from him and, in a couple of weeks, we will see if the 27-year-old Brazilian will fit in the rhythm of the hard Serie A. all in all, Milan perhaps possess the best offensive line in Serie A at this time.
2.Deco
Although 30, he is still great refreshment for Chelsea . Great view of the play, very clear passes and rushing in from the middle will make Chelsea more efficient…with Ballack and Esien around him this will be the great midfield line.
3.Amantino Mancini
Roma have lost a great player, while Mourinho got a fast, aggressive, attacking winger. It seems that, with all the other acquisitions, Inter are now going after all the trophies this year and they are very determined to do so.
4.Daniel Alves
Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United were only the few of the clubs interested in bringing this lad in their squad. Still, Barcelona won this battle and it is obvious now that Guardiola wants the strong wings in his team and Dani Alves is the right choice.
5.Aliaksandr Hleb
Brought to replace Ronaldinho and to change Barcelona’s style. His job will be to create Barca’s play, but also to score. It seems that Arsenal may have given up their best player in the last season a little too easy…
6.Mathieu Flamini
Another mistake made by Arsenal, since the French joined Milan on the free transfer, but who will play for Milan when we have there…well you know who’s there. A lot of great players and sweet torments for Anceloti…
7.Samir Nasri
After the departures of the larger number of players from the first XI, it was about time that Arsenal made an effort to strengthen their squad. Their most important acquisition this summer is young Nasri who was truly inspiring last season playing for Olympic Marseille. The man who is already being compared to the great Zidan…
8.Amauri
A proof that Juventusis hungry for trophies is bringing the Palermo star player which will make the offensive line, along with Trezeguet and Iaquinta, look frightening, especially when we know that the midfield is also swarming with all the excellent players.
9.Ezequiel Garay
Real want to bring Van Der Vaart, but Garay from Racing Santander was still the first to arrive, although Barcelona were also very much interested in bringing this excellent player.
10.Luka Modric
Tottenham latest acquisition, the young Luka Modric has proved his worth by playing superb for the Croatian national team. The decision he made not to join Chelsea or Barcelona, who were also in the race for him, is considered a smart choice because there was a risk he might not play a significant role there because of the great competition in the squad. Still, Tottenham is the great bounce on the way towards the great European clubs.
Forthcoming period will reveal a lot, but all of these names are speaking themselves of the plans the ‘big European teams’ have…
